A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Questions, answered.
About the platform, your family workspace and what beta means.
What is ScholarForge?
ScholarForge brings homeschool classes, assignments, grades, attendance, calendars and academic records into one parent-controlled family workspace.
Who is ScholarForge for?
Homeschool families who want flexible planning and a lasting academic record for one child or several.
Is ScholarForge a curriculum?
No. It manages homeschool planning and records; it does not replace the curriculum your family chooses.
Can I use my own grading scale?
Yes. Create custom grading scales and choose points-based grading or weighted assignment categories.
Can I have multiple children?
Yes. Manage several learners in one family workspace while keeping each child’s grades and work individual.
Can both parents have accounts?
Yes. The family owner can invite an additional parent or guardian. Each adult has their own account and personal preferences.
Can my children sign in?
Yes, when a parent enables a student account. Student access is restricted to their learning space.
Do children need email addresses?
No. Student sign-in uses your family code, a username and a parent-managed PIN or password.
Can I attach worksheets and resources?
Yes. Parents can attach supported files and website or video links to assignments.
Can students submit assignments?
Yes, when a parent enables file submission for that assignment. Submitting a file does not automatically change a grade.
Can I track attendance?
Yes. Record daily attendance and student-hours, filter dates and review instructional-day totals.
Does ScholarForge create transcripts?
Yes. Parents can finalize course records and generate transcripts with credits and GPA where appropriate. Parents remain responsible for reviewing their records.
Can I export my records?
Yes. Download readable Excel and CSV exports, plus a technical JSON backup.
What happens to my beta account when ScholarForge launches?
Beta accounts and academic records are intended to carry forward. Pricing and transition details will be communicated before paid plans begin.
Will there be desktop and mobile apps?
Windows, macOS, iPhone/iPad and Android clients are planned. The responsive web app is available now; release dates have not been announced.
How much will ScholarForge cost?
The beta is currently free, with no credit card required. Full-release pricing has not been announced, and free beta access is not a promise of permanent free access.
Is ScholarForge currently in beta?
Yes. Join early and help shape the platform. Features may evolve during beta and should not be assumed final.
Do I need to buy lesson plans to use ScholarForge?
No. The planned resource shop is optional and separate from your family workspace. Checkout is not yet available.
